Hell's Anthem

"I never thought I'd end up here."
We now await our fate in fear.
Waiting in turn the pit nearing,
only anxious, only fearing.
Treason judged, we are thrown to fire,
perfect justice, wrath never tired.

Amongst the flames we scream the name
of Jesus, whose name we profaned.
Our prayers for mercy linger on.
Heaven silently looks upon
our fate with tears but not of pain.
"Rejoice!" they sing, "For sin is slain!"

After one thousand years have past,
His just wrath upon us stands fast.
The smoke of our bones bellows up,
to heaven where the righteous sup.
Ten trillion years, chanting in tears,
"I never thought I'd end up here."
